I am very pleased that you have found the way to my website. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer for several years and hope that you like the images on my website. All images were created by myself, some of them with much effort. Please appreciate that the images are intended for viewing on this website only. Any other use needs my explicit approval.

I was born in 1979 in Germany and grew up in the small spa town Bad Kissingen. Since acquiring my diploma in computer science, I am engaged in software development. Since some time I am living in Nuremberg and I’m trying now to get to know the city and the surrounding area.

The interest in photography began in my childhood. Equipped with a small analogue compact camera, I learned the basics of aperture and shutter speed. However, it took almost two decades before the passion of photography really grabbed me. Then in 2006 I bought my first DSLR – the Nikon D70s. Since then I am working intensively to learn the technical and creative aspects of photography.

The beauty of my homeland brought me to the nature and landscape photography. But born as a late riser, it is a great challenge for me to be in place at the best time - the sunrise. Unfortunately, the time in my homeland was becoming increasingly scarce in recent years, and I was more frequently in various cities in Germany. But also these have their photographic appeal which is mainly shown during the blue hour, the transition from day to night. In addition to these two main areas I’m often experimenting with other types of subjects. The achievement of perfection in technique and design is always the goal in my work.
